Latest Updates

  • USAID Data Services, in collaboration with the Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning, recently launched the publicly available Development Cooperation Landscape Tool, an interactive webpage on USAID's Foreign Aid Explorer that allows USAID staff and the development community to view and analyze the budgets and programs of other development cooperation actors by country. This tool will increase understanding of cooperation partners' priorities; identify potential areas of alignment and collaboration; contribute to more robust cooperation strategy development; and serve as a data source when engaging development cooperation stakeholders. Through this tool, USAID hopes to better understand and comprehensively map the work of approximately 1,000 development partners currently reporting to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) in order to more effectively and efficiently use resources.
  • The USAID Data Services team is pleased to announce the addition of the Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM) sector to the IDEA Country Dashboard. The new sector includes data on tax performance and tax administration from the latest release of USAID's Collecting Taxes database, in addition to other indicators on government revenue and relevant indicators on the business environment. The DRM sector was compiled by the partnership of M/CIO's USAID Data Services team and the Office of Economic Policy in the Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment (E3).
